I'll be in Savannah with the wife for a few days after Christmas, and was wondering what gun related things there are to do in the area?  Museums, gun shops, gear suppliers?

PSA is just up the road a bit.
There are a few gun shops around. There is a place on 17 that rents FA.

The good thing about the crime in Savannah is its mostly hood rat vs. hood rat......mostly.

Always be aware of your surroundings though. I carry everywhere down there unless I am having a cocktail. Even then, I am not completely defenseless.

Palmetto State Armory has a store and gun range just north of the intersection of SC-170 and US-278 in Ridgeland, SC at:

Take the ladies to the Outlets on US-278, then go shooting at the range and check out all the parts and toys in the store.

Or stop by  Palmetto Indoor Range  and rent a Machine Gun or Sub-gun for $45 plus ammo and have some fun.
PIR is off the first exit in South Carolina US17/Speedway Blvd, turn right, and down the road a few miles on the right.
