So travis and I broke up and friends and I went to the bar last night.
a real nice guy approached me and started talking - about 15 minutes into our conversation another guy starts taking pictures of me!! No one else but me. Girlfriends already left table mingling or bathroom. .. guy taking pictures yells out I have insurance! ! 49 years that's never happened to me. Too bad I didnt carry last night! 
no one there recognized the guy...whats that all about? |

Sounds like it was a friend of Travis, trying to prove that you are seeing someone ( I know, just met but that's what it looks like) or it was someone proving the guy you were speaking with is cheating on his wife/girlfriend. That's my W.A.G!

I hope I am not getting paranoid about where society is headed, but if I heard that being said while somebody was taking pictures, my first thought would be that the guy taking pictures knew the guy that was talking to me and was taking pictures for my protection because the guy talking to me couldn't be trusted (you know all the gals disappearing lately). Since I wasn't there and didn't see exactly how it was happening and didn't hear anything that was said that would be one thought for an action and comment like that. And along the same train of thought thinking the same thing, the guy also could have been making a bad joke about his friend. My thought is focusing on his choice of words as he said Insurance, not blackmail, proof, caught ya, wait til the wife sees this, etc....... Stay safe and here is to hoping it was something different and completely harmless because alcohol can make people do and say stupid things! |

Thanks teufal! He was creepy and came out of no where...singled me out!! The nice guy I ws talking with semed unconcerned? several tried to find him but he was gone. Some ofyou boys are harsh on a newbie

It makes for a healthy board that is enjoyable to read and a great place to ask questions and get answers from a perspective different than yourself. With that being said, I don't want this place to degrade into a Facebook like atmosphere where a bunch of look at me threads are posted that add nothing to the board.  Nighthawk is over priced . once you get into $1600 + 1911's you can start looking at a custom build exactly the way you want instead of an expensive off the shelf gun

The newbs have been awesome lately. Between asking about making full autos. 80% lower bs and now this. It's like watching a train wreck.
Words of advice......read more post less But I have gotten a laugh or two. ETA. Are we supposed to know who Travis is???
