Just went to the license office to get my Class M added to my driver's license. I stood there in the long line for a long time, and when I got to be the second person in line, all hell broke loose. It turns out that the computer system state wide is out (pretty much all day), but they've been letting people stand in line for up to an hour to get their number to go sit and wait for a long time to go talk to someone in the window. Basically, you have to stand in line to go sit in line, then go up to the windown when they call your number to conduct your buisness. Once they get up there, the person in the window explains that the computer system is down, and they can't help you today. Someone got pissed (rightfully so) and started loudly announcing the situaiton to voice her displeasure and warn everybody. That made other people pissed who had been waiting, and some started yelling.

I'm pissed! Arghhhhh! Stupid state run crap doesn't work worth a damn. At least when I drove around the corner to the tag office, I was only the third person in line and they submitted my request for a replacement title for $8 and in under 10 minutes!

I went to the one in Locust Grove this morning, got there about 10 til 8am. About 30 people in line before me. Walked out at 8:52am with paper temp license in hand. They announced that the system was running a little slow. I think shortly after I left is when the system went tits up. So glad I didn't go later.

Wow, I was at the Cumming location today at 2:30pm adding my class M. No issues at all, and not too long of a wait.
