Every walmart I've been to is full of 9mm and .40 call Federal at the same exact Price as Blazer Brass used to be.

And I'm surprised to see that it's there..like people haven't bled the stores dry yet.

What' up? Did I miss something? Is the gun scare over?

Um..... Dude, Federal and Speer/CCI are owned by the same company. ATK. They also own RCBS, Weaver, Alliant Powder, Champion, D-tect Systems, Eagle Industries, Gunslick, Intensity, Nitrex, Outers, Ram-Line, and Shooters Ridge.

Centerfire ammo has freed up but rimfire is still really hard to find some times.

A firearms rep friend of mine said that ebr sales were down 25% last month from the manufactures. Prices are getting to drop like a rock. Happy days again.

Yeah, that's the shit that doesn't make any sense. I'd went back and forth with my wholesalers over and over again.

I would understand a shortage of 9mm if they had retooled the machinery to load .45, that makes sense.

Rimfire is EFFING Rimfire. A minimal amount of retooling is required caliber to caliber, as most are based on the .22/.22 mag casing. .22LR should be flowing like a river.

See though, that's not odd. I'm moreso looking for 20-30 thousand rounds at a time to stay stocked. I'm getting 5-6 bricks at a time.

My wife though I was nuts. In 2008 I would buy two bricks of 22lr every time I went in to Walmart. Now we have lots of 22lr to shoot and at a low price. I also  bought powder, primers, and bullets for two years or more. I was allways a good Boy Scout "Be Prepared ", this has served me well in the last 50 years.

Well damn, last time I saw .22 at walmart was in November so when I saw the bulk packs on the shelf it made my day.

I found the Federal bricks at the Wal-Mart on the Eastside of Athens earlier this week. They had 12 bricks when I got there. I bought 6 and the guy behind me bought 1. The Westside store hasn't had it since last Fall.

When I was picking up the .22lr the shelves seemed to have a good quantity of all calibers and brands in stock. Academy Sports was the same yesterday. They even had the Hornady .223 stuff I haven't seen in months and months.

My buddy told me. He said they had Hornady Critical Defense but can't remember what brand target ammo. Their number is 678-880-7956 if you want to call them in the morning.

Dking, local wal-mart in macon has 100 round value packs of WWB 380 as well.  didn't notice price exactly (maybe ~$30).  would be happy to pick some up for you and hang on to it if you ever get down this way.
