Anyone here live at the beach? I am interested in getting some of those large cactus plants (Flat, rounded lobes)
that grow on the beach. What kind are they and where can I get them? I have looked in the emerald Isle area
and no luck.

Prickly Pears?
Pretty common.
Might be able to pick them up at a garden shop.

All the ones in my neighborhood are in bloom right now.
The best way to get one, would be to get some of the smaller loose ones that end up getting stuck in your feet.
