Spring is just around the corner , So I guess we need to get the ball rolling on planning this shindig.
We have been invited back to Take aim in Pageland SC this year.

the range calendar is clean right now for April and May. The quicker we pick a date the better so we don't compete with a class

I can do any weekend other than May 16-17.... going to see the Thunderbirds at Seymour Johnson AFB that weekend

This years shoot will be held at Take aim training range in Pagland SC. As always this will be an all weekend affair with camping on site.

Fax them in today. Should have them back by the earliest date listed. Go ahead and request a full year...like 4/1/15-3/31/16. (Or, request today through the end of the year, and get in the habit of sending new forms in each fall for the following year).

Lots of shooting , camping ,meeting up with old friends and making new ones and generally just a good time for everyone.
In the past it has been $10 per person to use the range all day. Camping is free . If you have anymore questions let me know. If you can make it please come.

I might be able to make it. Never went to a NCHTF shoot before. If they're half as fun as the AZHTF shoots are, it'll be more than worth the drive.

I submitted another at the beginning of the month but I don't see that coming back before the shoot.

I'll be there all weekend. I'll try to get down there before the shoot and check it out. I'm hoping that there are still some steel gongs beside the clubhouse.....just need some way to hang them....somebody shot the chain up after the shoot last year.

So bring out the big guns and let them stretch their legs.

Wasn't it out to about 300 last Spring? Or have they removed the final few trees making it an official 300 yards?

I got my range finder out the other week and it is a solid 300 yards to the back. My wife made a nice wood sign marking the 100 yard mark, will be putting it out next weekend. Anne Marie wanted to remind us all to please keep all steel targets at least 100 yards out. I'm going to ask her about the tanerite, I've got some API 50 cal rounds I want to play with ;) 2 more weeks!!

Depending on if I make it and what my mode of transportation is, I might have an engine block. I've already blasted some parts off of it and put some other holes in it.
