5 business days. To be safe show up on the 6th day to pick them up. You'll either get your permits or be arrested because the background check found out you're a criminal

when I bought my one and only pistol permit, it took 2 weeks. that was in nov of 2012 too, before sandyhook. now I have a conceal carry so I don't have to worry about that BS.

I'm going to go down to the sheriff's officer tomorrow to see if there is anyway this can be expedited. I mean, how can it possibly take someone this long to submit my information for a background check... .Sure wish I could just flash my Florida conceal carry permit to prevent this hoop jumping. |

That is slow. I applied one day in Lee county and picked mine up the next day

I can't describe to you all how irritated I am that even though I have a Conceal carry permit from a state that NC has 99.9% reciprocity with, that I still have to wait friggin 3-4 weeks. It's absurd. It's also absurd that we still don't have nationwide reciprocity. Ugh. And I'm moving to maryland Sunday an even worse state for these concerns. |
