We used to go shooting up Caney Fork but that's on the other side of Cullowhee from Cherokee. May be some other places nearer to Sylva.

I went up to Moss Knob last spring and it was pretty nice. It was a nasty day and no one else was there, so I don't know how crowded it gets (I'm from the right side of the state), but the facility was nice. Watch out for wasps in the can.

Google the Lake Logan USFS range. Its a little farther out and closer to Waynesville but pretty nice. Prob 10-12 lanes that go out to 100yds. Or you could take your chances somewhere out on the Rez
