Which ones are worth exploring?

Ed's, So Pines area, already gets 95% of my business. Small stock and inventory, but great prices.

Guns plus, Fayettestan, Small stock and inventory.

Jim's, Fayettestan, is for looking and touching. Bigger, large inventory and most must be plated in gold for the prices you see.

Del-Ton, Elizabethtown, doesn't have any and won't do store hours.

Bryant's, Lumberton, Good scattergun inventory, rifles and smaller handgun areas, but attitude of the proprietors and apathy kinda turn people off and more gold plating.

So what others can you recommend? Addresses and quantity quality and content if you please

If you want to see an amazing selection of "fine" Shotguns and Sporting Rifles, go to Mid South Guns in Wagram.

Absolutely amazing place.

FYI: When I went to the place, I walked in, a guy came out from the back, said "Hi" and then disappeared for 20 minutes. I had free-reign of the place and there must have been 2,000+ long guns on display.

Yes, and a braggard that is happy to regale you with how little he paid the widow for them and still show you an "excellent condition" M1 Garand, that, surprisingly was friggin made in China. Been there...

North Raleigh Guns is really good. They have a bunch of good stuff in there. I bought ammo there for the same price as Aimsurplus, which is a rare find.

Sovergien Guns and Fuquay Guns in Fuquay-Varina have a pretty big selection and reasonable prices. Sovergien has a little more Surplus stuff. Not bad places to check out.

ETA: they are about a block apart so you can hit them up in one afternoon.
