Have been here since 2011 but normally cruise through GD a few times a week for the entertainment value but never post. Anyway I usually shoot at Efird's rifle range in Albemarle and Eagle Guns in Concord when time permits.

Moved back  home to Union County after 20+ years in VA.

We've been in Union/Anson for centuries (literally).

Pinehurst, NC. Retired and worthless now. The info on Woody's
might be something I should check out. Moore County is hurting
on ranges.

Wow. Forget it. The initial price was 4k.

Woodys is a decent range, used to host some real fun prs type matches there on the farm side. I've been to a few steel challenge matches on the range. If they still do those, would be a good way to check it out before buying.

The MCWCC is worth the cost, even more so since you are close.

If you are looking for long range, Coleman's Creek in Ellerbe has a great setup.

Just moved from CO to Greenville area, will be working at ECU for the next few years. Haven’t even started researching places to shoot yet so would appreciate any tips. I guess I’ll start looking at ENC since it’s an hour away, hoping to get to TRC for some classes.

People's Republic of Orange County.

Family's been here since 1740, I've only been here since 1954. I'm so old I can remember when distributor points came with a new screw.

@Wake27

Frontline Defense has a 1k range about 1.5hrs from you. You can shoot at the 500yrd range as a guest but have to be a member to shoot at 1k yard range.

Besides the Cleveland County complex, if anyone knows a place to shoot, ranges, classes, groups, a good Ham repeater or simplex freq to shoot the shit on, PM me.

My condolences. I'm outside Hillsborough, which is the JV version of Chapel Hill.

My partner grew up in Wilmington and I lived there from '84-'88. We. owned a house in Glen Meade until last summer when the terrible traffic and the willingness of the local leadership to bend over for any developer made us decide to sell at the top of the market.

Know it well, actually have family there. Well, I did. Most have moved away and the person I was closest to died suddenly two years ago so I've lost track.

Riverside meats.  I've sent many a hog up there to be processed.  One cow.  Always liked their sausage recipe.
