A buddy of mine told me that OMB Guns in Overland park has,yet again, been sold. They're getting rid of everything. He said they don't have much there, but what they do have are going for some really good deals. Maybe worth the drive for someone.

Swear to God I was in Cabela's one Saturday and there was a brace of bangers in there and they were looking at some inexpensive handguns and there was a flurry of ghetto speak and one finally says "I think my momma can still buy a gun"

LOL. I can't imagine the stink eye I'd get if I asked my mom such a question.

Years ago I was in one of the pawn shops over on Minnesota Ave in KCK, back when you could still find the occasional gun deal in a pawn shop. As I'm browsing the goods Homie walks in and asks "how much for the .38Special ammo". The guy behind the counter says (I'm paraphrasing from memory) "$20 for the whole box".

Homie pauses a second and then asks "wait, 'for the whole box?' You sell them individually?" The counter guy responds "Yup. Dollar a round." Home responds with "I'll take six."

You gotta respect a guy that knows he'll only need the six in the gun and has no time for reloading.
