    I made this out of asst. parts, based on a polymer lower. The A1 stock doesn't fit right, because it has an oval peg that doesn't go into the round hole on the lower, and I couldn't get the muzzle brake tight enough for the holes to point straight up because I don't have a barrel clamp.
    The guy I got the 16" barrel from said it's 5.56, but I don't see any markings on it. (May be under the forearm, I don't know for sure).
    Do you guys think this would sell, and if I did it as "OBO" what do you think it would bring?
(Function is good. I was shooting it yesterday).

The problem is that I'd have to put a starting price, even if I said OBO. Too low, I'd rather keep it, but too high, people will laugh and move on.

How high is too high? I don't know.

The issue is new Ar are going for 429 and up. The market is drowning.  with that polymer lower you figure 50 bucks,  to me that build is around 325 bucks on the generous side. your A1 stock is worth as much as the lower. i know that sounds rough. but used thats about it. the new frontiers were 100 bucks new for a complete lower when lower prices were high now that you're looking at 50 bucks out the door for a non polymer and 30 buck stock sets and 40 buck lpk, so complete lowers for 100 to 120. uppers down to 160 and up for new, bolts and charging handles 80 i mean you're building 400 buck ar.  i traded a new frontier lower with a keymod upper and 2 cheap old down sights for a used Rossi carbine and i thought it was a fair trade and happy to do it.

used market is down.  At least thats my thoughts.  there probably not worth much but its what i think.

Grab a gun has delton flat tops for $399 today, so I'm guessing $250ish.

If he's lucky, best bet is try to sell it on MWGT to a local.

I appreciate the input. That's what I was looking for.

Sounds like I may have to keep it, but when I decided not to invest more in my pistol upper I started thinking about another gun that I want. Now I was just scheming a way to get it, but it doesn't sound like even selling this rifle and the pistol upper would get me enough for this;

I just listed this rifle and the pistol upper on MeWe.

Thanks, everyone.

A site that doesn't control content the way facebook does. I started a Missouri guns and accessories sales group, and there are others as well.

There's nothing wrong with that rifle that a $60 Anderson lower and 30 minutes of time wouldn't fix. But, yeah, prices are down. The market it glutted. Limited market for carry handles.etc. etc.

Yikes. So even if I bought a new lower for it, the value wouldn't really increase. It may just make it easier to sell.

Op I'd go to local gun shows and walk around with it over your shoulder with a big $450 flag tag hanging out the barrel and some dumbass will buy it from you gauranteed.
