Everyone ok? Out of power, vehicle accident, funny stories? How bad did it actually hit yall?

Although I haven't been out today, everything seems fine. No reports that I've heard of in the Northland area (kc metro area). Saw a car flipped over on it's top yesterday at 152 and North Oak. Hard to tell exactly what happened, but I would imagine someone was going too fast on the ramp, slid off the road, went up the embankment, and landed on its lid.

Nothing to report here...  We prepped a bit, got the Gen Set and Kerosene Heater and all the extra provisions ready...  We had a measly 1/8" of Ice, a few medium limbs down and thats it...  Pretty much a no event...

All good here. We got a couple light coatings of ice, but no damage. Just enough to look good.

Nothing of note here. Power went out for about two minutes around 2:30am today. That's it.

Cool pics of your land!!!

We had some pretty cool looking trees with all the icesickles hanging off them...  Wished I would have still had that laser light thing from Christmas set out, would have been neat at night...

Strained a muscle lifting a generator and layed around for three days is about all I got done.  I got a start on making a front sight for a pistol, and there it sits; I'll work on it later this week.

Not much here south of Joplin.  Pics were from Saturday.

Just hope folks don't get complacent as these storms can get bad.
