New guy here from Springfield, have a question about DDs for sale in Missouri.  I've seen M203s for sale on auction sites from Missouri dealers, that also had the locals pay sales tax and available for pickup in state blurbs in the item descriptions.  I've also read on numerous sites that cover state NFA laws that DDs are specifically restricted from civilian ownership in the state.  Can I legally buy a M203 on a form 4 here?

I know for a FACT that individuals have LEGALLY owned M203's and M79's (in 40mm) in Missouri.

I've never been able to reconcile how they are doing it.

Same with a Striker-12... only thing I can figure is large bore DD vs explosive DD, but I don't see a differentiation in MO law.

I'm presuming that a launcher is ok, but an explosive round or munition (like the form 1'ed hand grenade in the DD section of the forum) is not?

A reactivated Carl Gustav is my grail gun.

So c'mon MO, get it right on DD's.

IIRC the statue is something like "any explosive weapon or weapon designed to launch an explosive"

I'm eyeballing the 60mm and 81mm mortars on gunbroker right now, gonna have to look at real estate in Oklahoma first.

It wasn't too long ago that suppressors were verboten in MO.

I have hope that our laws will change on DDs as well.

This is very relevant to my interests. I have asked question before in DD forum. Anybody else file form 1 or 4 for DD recently. Curious to know if anybody has gotten recent approvals or disprovals in MO?

This stupid ignorant crap is why I don't dabble in NFA.

Sorry to revive such an old post but I saw some good deals online for M203 at AU. Anybody do a form 3 to 4 route for DD and get approved? I read earlier in this thread of someone getting a form 1 approved.
