I striped the Allen screw while trying to take off the trigger guard, does anyone know someone in St. Louis who would be able the take the Allen screw out w/o damaging the lower?

Have you tried an "easy out" to get it out? They aren't much.

Just put a tiny drop of epoxy in the bottom. Tiny. Let it harden on the Allen wrench and twist out. Problem solved.

But new Allen wrench for a buck or what not.

If you have a drill press. And vise. Flip it over mag well up. Drill a couple holes. Or get a mill bit just slowly take off metal.

"Speed Out" removers, Lowes Item #612573. Runs about $15. Work like a charm IF there's no threadlocker on the screws.

The screw extractor is to big for the 1/16 hex screw that is striped, it would grind the lower with the screw

I could surely remove it but my question is why? is there something wrong with the trigger guard? Changing it to a ????
Just wondering why it is so important to throw a bunch of money at to remove it? Does the trigger guard need to survive?

Where are you located? I would not be able to get to it until next week midweek... I'm on the west side of the state...
But you could do it with a TIG welder if you are good....add material to the screw until you get a piece you can grab onto...
DC won't melt the aluminum, heat in the screw will help apply paraffin wax while hot it will melt and creep into the threads and help.
Many different sizes of screw extractor, Left handed twist drills, they can grab it and twist it out sometimes without the extractor...
