I'm a terrible recruiter.

I ask fellow shooters to come try this game.

I wheedle coworkers who own guns.

I bully my spouse, friends, and acquaintances...sometimes on public forums. (sorry Brent)

but here it is, my latest public announcement...no, plea for you to come out and give this a shot. Just. Once.

You'll learn about your skills.

We don't judge.

It's a great group of folks, always a few new shooters. Some of us mediocre types are willing to help. I always bring extra gear to share.

620 County Road 180, Fayette MO

8:30 am. Saturday the 19th of April, 2014.

It's worth your time. Come out, bring dad's shotgun and your CCW piece, maybe a rifle. We are on Arfcom, after all. I will literally pull mag holders off my belt to share between stages. I'll hold a short shotgun reloading class. I can at least show you all the ways I've made mistakes, so at least you can avoid those and make new ones. :)

It's fun...it's EDUCATIONAL...and you will be a better shooter because of the challenges you will be presented with. Which translates to you being more capable in the clutch, Lord please forbid.

I wouldn't want to talk to me.....all I talk about is 3-Gun and how much fun it would be to shoot feril knots from a helicopter!

But you aren't awesome unless you 3-gun!

It sounds like it would be fun. Current hand injury would keep me out, and taking care of my sick wife is keeping me home.

Still would like to try it out someday. I think there's some showings on DirecTV channel 604 tonight (?) of some competitions. At least the title seems to make it sound like it.

Can't make it tomorrow.

I am moving gravel around the home. ( 7 hours of it today.) I am about 1/2 way through.

I did get a new shot gun for the next time though! I haven't even gotten it out of the box because of work around the house. UGH!

Well.... THAT was a lot of fun !!!

At the last minute, I was able to go and shoot in this thing.

First ever 3 Gun and had a great time.

I really need a holster that works well with a chest rig....

I'm switching to a Bladetech WRS with tall hood.

Chest rig isn't great for anything but shotgun reloading. Rifle mags in the back pocket work fine for some time, then two spare pistol mags on the belt will do what you need.

Now that you're hooked......see you at the next one!

It does look like a lot of fun.

After seeing those videos and watching 3 Gun Nation yesterday (and saw the ar15.com shot out), I feel like I have a very long way to go. I may need the timer to be in minutes or hours before I hit all those targets.

www.midwest3gun.com is the website you are looking for. It needs to be updated, but that is where you would normally look.

Are these matches held on any regularity? Say something like the second Saturday of every month?

I couldn't find dates for any upcoming matches on the website.
