Sergeant's hair changes color before it falls out...

Higher ranks go on anti-depressants, high blood pressure and stress medications from all the "this is your fault, now let me tell you why...." calls

I would have not seen this thread had I not run into my old friend, SGT69, today.

Thanks guys.  I've been off the boards for a bit trying to learn this new job.

Let me just say that bein a sergeant is a LOT less stress than being in Homicide.

Thanks guys!

Hopefully you get to keep your holiday pay.  Once you move into "bars" with us, you lose that too

How do you guys lose OT at the rank of Sgt? I didn't think that Sgt's were exempt from OT?

We are apparently the ONLY police department in the entire Milky Way Galaxy that considers Sergeants exempt from OT.  It's retarded.

Based on some pending litigation, it appears that may change soon.  I sure hope so.

Does the financial stress added cancel out the murder beat stress? Congrats, any reduction of stress for me would be good, then again I don't think I could get paid much less.

That's craptastic.....

Hopefully that gets squared away quickly.
Still, congrats on the promotion.
