THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I was at an event today where an exhibitor was promoting a new gun store. Defensor Tactical is scheduled to open in about two weeks at 206 Meremec Valley Plaza in Valley Park, MO. They will not only have hand guns and tactical rifles but will be offering CCW and CQC courses. I met the owner who is a member of law enforcement and he stated they will be offering "We Will Beat 'Them" pricing and military/law enforcement discounts. The banner at their booth had the logos and trademarks of many major tactical product and firearm manufacturers so we can only hope they will have a decent amount of product on hand. I specifically asked about stripped lowers, uppers and parts and was told "yes" we will have them.

The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win and cheat if necessary.

Is that in On Target's old store? Same plaza at least.

New store going in up next to Kmart in Ellisville too. I hope they can all survive and don't cut each other's necks. There's two in Eureka now as well.

Did they say what kind of LEO/EMS/FF discounts? There's one store that offers those......it's 7% off of MSRP. So, it's still about 20% higher than everyone else. LOL

Store in Ellisville is a move and not new. Ruby's Guns, formally of Sullivan, Mo has moved to Ellisville.

New for Ellisville I mean. I'm still surprised they are not keeping the Sullivan shop open......seemed like they did alright down there.

Complaint from the owner was that most of his business came from the St. Louis area.

He may re-open in Sullivan after establishing the store in Ellisville.

Just found Ruby's Guns earlier this week, and how I missed them opening I'll never know because they're only ten minutes from my house. Nice place, nice people, owners don't spout endless BS about "the sound of a shotgun slide racking is the best defense". Even gave me $25 more on a trade than I initially asked, really decent folk. Prices there seem pretty fair, though the ~$145 for a 91/30 Mosin is mighty steep in my opinion. Picked up an FEG P9RK in excellent condition that was on consignment with eight, count 'em, EIGHT mags and a decent leather holster for ~$425 after tax (paid just under 300 after trade). As of now, the walls are still a little bare as he's still getting product shipped up from the old location but most of the cases are full with a pretty good selection of long guns. From what I understand, he's still waiting on most of his AR's and still needs to fill the ammo shelves the rest of the way. All in all, I'm pretty stoked about them being there and they're definitely worth stopping in and checking out.

Ruby's is a Davidson's shop, their gun genie prices look good.
