It was nice here in Kansas City today with the temperature around 85 degrees as a guess. This is much nicer than the 100 degree plus temperatures we have had here for the last month and a half or so. I am going to the Chiefs opener tomorrow and plan on seeing a Royals game next week. I don't remember when the last time I saw a football or baseball game. That means I am due to go. What is with the crime scene tape or are you not allowed to comment at this time?

When officers arrived, the suspect jumped through a first-floor window and ran across Compton to an alley, said Capt. Michael Sack.
