Heading there now and wondering if there is any place I should definitely visit while in town. Will be there through Saturday and have an open schedule after 5 each day, then headed to Wheelchairmans joint on Saturday after I check out.

I doubt you hit Osage Beach, but Pistols Plus is worth a stop just for the display case.  Pretty cool collection.

Driving into Branson at night feels like driving through a Casino or red light district...except it doesn't say "live nudes" or "loosest slots" anywhere....instead it's "Dixie stampede" and "god and country"

That's only a hundred miles or so out of his way.

Pistols Plus is interesting once or twice.  The poor folks near the lake need a gun shop with prices a little easier to swallow.

THIS!!!!!

There's a few hole in the wall places down here who's got decent prices.

Pistols Plus is a decent place to look, just don't look at their prices.

On the other side of the bridge - river from the tinny Bass Pro, take a right and head down that road. There is a really cool antique store in the town of Hollister off of Downing Street. It's in down town Hollister.  Has old guns & knives and lots of clocks. It's what an antique store should look like ie. not filled with knick knacks that should've been thrown out 50 years ago and elvis crap.

Linkage to get you in the area:

There's also a gun shop down 65 with a 5 ton parked out front. Not much selection but nice guys in there.

Yep, we were there two weeks ago. The Hook and Ladder pizza place was great and just down the street there is a deuce and a half parked in front of a gun store. It was closed when we passed by it. I can't remember the name of it but it looked interesting.

If I didn't have plans already I would invite you up to Busik or SOF in Ozark to shoot and drink coffee.  Bart Simpson best described Branson....It's what Las Vegas would be like without gambling.

I think they have their Class 3 license but when I asked about what was involved they said I should go online and fill out the paperwork and once it clears they could sell me what I wanted.

I need a little more "hand holding" on my 1st Suppressor. Guess I'll drive over to Springfield.
