Since this topic keeps coming up, and DeLorean suggesting making a tacked thread, I figured I'd start it. We could post it, edit/tweak it until it's right, and then ask Eric to tack it. (Or just link to it in one of the tacked threads).

Here's what I've found so far;

JW Enterprises
Imperial, Mo.
20 (or was it 25?) bucks.
His shop is moving on 1Apr to the service road just a couple miles north of ARPC.

23Apr12
He no longer will do transfers on new firearms nor will he do transfers for quite a few wholesalers.
Personally I can no longer recommend him.

Wow he must really like you. I was never anything but nice to the guy until he decided to charge me tax on the handgun he transfered to me. I don't deal with Otto because all you have to do is catch him at that time of the month and he'll be an ass hole to you from then on. I used him for transfers (which he was doing for $10.00) and gave him lots of gun smith business as well. I even had a few guys from my departement us him too. After the way he treated me, I would never recomend him to anyone again. I'd rather send my stuff off to get worked on by someone who isn't a total jack ass.

I also offer discounts for multiple firearms at the same time. In addition, I offer a free transfer if you join or extend your NRA membership at the time of transfer. By the way, I pay $10.00 of your membership or renewal fee for anyone. So get a transfer and a 1 year membership to NRA for only $25.00, total.

Yeah, I remember your past thread about that. I asked him about it; I'll let you to work it out as it's not my business and he had a different point of view. I don't defend him because he's a character and does rub some people the wrong way. On the other hand, I'm at his shop twice a month drinking coffee with him, Doc or Jerry as are a lot of my fellow officers and friends. I know his family, and he knows mine. Of all the people I have personally sent to him, not one has had any problems (well over 40 by now). To be honest, he doesn't need me to defend him as he has something just shy of a cult following in our area departments. But, since the OP was asking about transfers I wanted to put it out there if anyone is LE. Just sent a 6th District officer there last week and he can't get enough of the place now.
