I was hoping to hunt in the snow for the second time in my life. Not looking so good now.

Have the pantry stocked up and plenty of charcoal.

Wish I had a generator, but I decided to spend all of my money on an engagement ring instead.

They cancelled it before I left. I have a big list of things not to do tomorrow.

I need to not get on that later.

Ill live. Got gas heat, gas hot water and a propane stove to cook muh milk and bread on.

Heck.  It's too warm to be much of a problem.

I lived in Montana for 12 years.

I am amused at the panic and terror that 3 INCHES of snow can generate......

nice drive in this morning, dry roads and light traffic.
let the panic begin...

It has begun...in McCalla anyways.

Good bit of rain changing over to pretty heavy sleet at times.

Be safe

It has started here in Forestdale as well. Thank God I didn't have to go into work today.

That shows how little you know about driving around here.  99.99% of the drivers may be able to handle the weather but it's the other 0.01% that block the roads.

You folks have no idea what "snowmageddon" looks like: look up Tug Hill New York.

You can keep your Tug Hill, and we'll keep 60+ degrees for 9 months out of the year.

Looks like another snowjob by the NWS in many of the areas they predicted 1"-3" of snow. The NWS is getting about as good as the CDC is at predictions.

Didn't get any snow, but plenty of rain and sleet that is frozen on the roads around the house.

Got off work yesterday a little after six. Had a very interesting ride home. Light traffic, most cars driving about 35 mph, well spaced out. It started sleeting and snowing pretty good. My normal 20 minute ride took me over 45 minutes.

I decided not to bother with going to the range today. Staying inside and catching up on my reloading room projects.

Have to say I was quite entertained over some the panic conversations I  overheard at work.

Best bet may be to see if you can drive up to Rome then take highway 35 through Ft. Payne.

Thought about that, and usually would go that way but I bet there's still going to be ice on some of those roads tomorrow afternoon with the low temps
