The very first (AFAIK) Alabama Statewide Fire Safety Summit at the Alabama Fire College in Tuscaloosa tonight and tomorrow, anyone from here attending?

If so, shoot me an e-mail, I'll be there all day tomorrow and would love to meet any Arfcommers who are there.

I need to -as I'm sure there would be some things to learn for my work duties - especially State law and NFPA regs. But, presently, I am swamped at said job, so no way to break loose for a few days.

I wished I would have known about this. The company I design fire protection for has built a very nice trailer showing how various dry pipe and pre-action valves operate as well as other demonstrations I believe. The trailer was still in the warehouse this afternoon when I left work so I am assuming we are not attending , atleast not with the trailer.
