Heard on 101.1 today carry of a firearm is not encouraged at the event, however concealed carry is o.k. and no one will be searched.....................................

FWIW, many here have attended, and many more have at some point wanted to attend the Legal Issues for Self Defense and Concealed Carry class (click for details) which is based on the legal module of the NRA Personal Protection training series.
Barry Alvis is coming to the WYDE Security Summit and he is going to teach that very class for free as one of the NRA Breakout sessions. I am not certain of the specific time on Saturday, but that class normally costs $45 and those who have been will tell you it was worth every penny. |

i went, even made the paper as the guy checking out the helo
i was OC and had zero issues. it was PACKED!!!!!!! ran into several folks i haven't seen in way to long. |
