Long range fun gun Match update:
Location: private range in Columbiana about 5 miles from 4 way stop
1st shot fired at 9am.
Date will be AUG 15th. Cost $80 per 2 man team, includes tshirt.
Targets from 200yards to 1100yards. 10 targets
Exact distances and sizes will be unknown to teams.
Format: Shooters will be taxied to shooting area. Both shooters will shoot.
Team will have 20 min to range and engage targets. Shooter will have 20 shots to fire and may engage every target as many times as round count and time permit, only 1 hit per target will be scored. Scoring will be reversed. 1100yd target worth 10 points down to 200yd target worth 1 point. Example, shooter hits 200yd for 1 point and the 1100 for 10 points and misses with the remainder shots for a score of 11. Next team shoots the 500yard for 5, 400 for 4, and 300 for 3 for a total or 12 to win. So strategy will play a part as well as speed and accuracy. In the event of a score tie, team with the quickest time wins.
