I've got an elcheapo video camera that watches my driveway and hooks up to a TV.  I'm looking for a multi camera system so I can cover the driveway and front and back doors. I Would like to be able to record the video feed and view the images on either a monitor or TV.  The video quality doesn't have to be Hi-Def but I would like to be able to see faces at fairly close range.
Any one have any suggestions or experiences.

I bought the 4 camera system by Swan  they sell at Best Buy. I records to DVR and you can hook it in to your home network. Program on the computer allows you to set it up to send you an email with snapshots of what triggered it. Supports continuous recording or timed recording and motion activated. Image quality is better than most of the kwik mart systems. I have not had any complaints so far with it.

Head over to the Safes and Home Security forum. There's a lot of really good info there.

This is the system that I have and the video quality is almost like watching TV.

The SVAT system looks as though the video quality might be lacking a little.

I know nothing about the subject matter but I know that Sam's club and Costco both sell video security systems.  Might be worth checking their prices if you're a member.
