Yep.  Been waiting on this for a while.  Built a new shooting house, planted some new plots.  Ready to go.

Not yet but I'll be down there in January and will give it a go then. Can't wait.

Still too many damn rules.  If you can ever find your way out to the range again It'd be a step in proving you still remember how to operate a firearm and that your advanced age hasn't made you a liability in the field.

I almost never hunt the mornings but I might this Saturday just to cut a deer down with my newest toy.  That and I really want some deer jerky.

As soon as I get some time off saved in my new job I'll be down there and go after deer, hogs, and coyote as often as I possibly can.  Been waiting years to be able to hunt suppressed there and itching to show my family that it does in fact pay to be a gun nerd versus just a family heirloom parking space.

Little trick I worked out with some cord laying around at the tree stand.  Very stable.

Looks like a great solution.  Rifle/can specs?

That's my Remington 700 AAC 20" barrel in .308. Scope is a Vortex PST FFP 4-16x50.  Can is a Silencerco Specwar 7.62.

Took a doe last night with it.  Hearing safe with the can.
