I remember seeing a thread recently about places to fish (salt water) near Gulf Shores. Now I can't find it.  

Any suggestions?  Not targeting anything, just would like to catch some fish.

You can fish at the state pier:










The Fairhope Municipal Pier is also open for fishing.

wade out in waist deep water
cast silver spoon out toward second sand bar with light/medium spinning gear

catch blue fish, lady fish, maybe even a spec or spanish mackerel
