I used to go there for shows back when I was at South Alabama. I don't remember there being any no carry then... of course that's been 30 years or so.

Its s nice venue, there are a couple of Central Parking lots nearby (2 blocks?) but its fee parking. $5 or so.

There is pay parking across the street with access being on Government
We'd use that lot when we went to shows at the Soul Kitchen,
As for carrying, I couldn't tell you.
There used to be a pretty decent brew-pub on Dauphine but don't know its
staus either.

Drove by the Saenger today and didn't notice any obvious "no guns" signage.

The brew pub next door is open for business. Hero's is a local favorite bar and grill just down Dauphin Street by the Cathedral Park.

The best parking is on Government Street across from the Radisson Admiral Semmes Hotel.

Get there a little early and you can park close to the theater. Bring cash for parking just in case, but the machine there (in case of no attendant) takes plastic.
