Hoping to find someone locally to finish a pin and weld on an SF3P for me. I'd prefer to have it TIG'd but I'm not too picky. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would like to see this info too.  I need to have a low profile gas block pinned.

Not sure of anyone locally that will do this for you but ADCO will do it for $30 you just send them the upper and muzzle device you want permanently attached and they have always turned my stuff around in a week or less.

Another option would be Rainier Arms for $39.95

I'm just tryin' to avoid shipping it. I've used a local muffler shop with good results, but I hate to pull the man off a paying job to do a 5 second weld.

Learned a long time ago that any job worth doing is worth doing RIGHT the first time.  Dont skimp on penny's when a botched job could mess up your rifle barrel and cost you more in the long run.

Just my $0.02

I always take care of the drilling and sizing the pin myself; I just don't have access to a welder.

before I acquired my own mig, I would finish mounting my flash hider, insert pin, then drop in on a welding shop with a Twenty in my hand.

I'd ask for a bead/weld on my pin, hand over the Twenty with a thank you, take it home to file, smooth the weld/bead, touch up blue with Birchwood Casey's.

Done.

I essentially did the same.

Lunch  was on me. and he got me taken care of. 'Bout 5min with a file and a drop of paint and she's done.
