That's an awesome class. For a long time I had to do First Aid / CPR every year, Lighthorse had the best hands on and environmental prep of any I've taken. Really drew my attention to a few things about situational chaos, improvising, communications in a chaotic environment, non-cooperative subjects, and how to keep a flashlight in arms reach the whole time. Definitely a step above what's available to most folks on the subject. Want to take my family through at some point.

I built a nice one at my old house. Ex got it in the divorce. Currently only 5 chickens however that will soon grow by 10 or more. I'm planning a 15 x 12 run for them currently and just a 4 x 8 coop. I planted 3.5/5 of my boxes this weekend.
I think I'll plant peas in the last box and a half. I was told to freeze the peas before I sprouted them, so I did half and half, non-frozen/frozen and planted them in the kitchen to get them sprouted before I move them to the boxes.
Pics tomorrow. Boyscouts tonight. |
