Just heard that he passed away this Weekend.  Spent many a day watching him and Janie in the afternoon.

I've heard of him but as I'm a transplant, came here in the 80's, I never saw him. What time frame was he on?

I spent many a morning as a kid dialling the rotary antenna in to wttv for Cowboy Bob.

I watched a lot of Cowboy Bob as a kid.  His show and Janie was a good way to kill some time, then back outside to play some more.
