Please be on the lookout for a white pickup with red stripes and a dog pen in the back. Unknown make or model.

It's wanted in connection of multiple dog thefts in Washington and Clark counties and believed to also be involved in several canine thefts in Floyd.

One of the thefts was my cousin's 1 1/2 year old Black Lab.

The person or persons are taking the dogs right out of yards.

If you see this vehicle, contact the Washington or Clark county Sherriff's department.

UPDATE: My cousin got her Lab back. It seems that a guy with a black lab, came poking around their area and stopped by a neighbor asking if they knew who's dog it was. They said they knew and hold on they would call them. He got nervous, said no need to, here's their dog.  

Cops told my cousin that it seems that it's possibly a scam. Guy takes the dog, waiting for a reward to pop up. If it does not, he takes his chances and returns the dog, saying he found it, hoping for something.

They said same thing happened last year out in western Indiana, between Evansville and Vincennes, even toward Shoals.
