M60E3--- You dont happen to need a new best friend do you, maybe a 34yr old adopted son.

Yeah, always looking for new shooting partners. Unfortunately, I haven't had any time this summer to shoot anything. But, I'll be taking some much needed R&R at Knob Creek this Oct. on the main firing line. I've been trying to link ammo when i have free time just for the occasion.

Or a 43 year old "Father figure"

Funny how emotional we get over guns and bird dogs, or at least I do.

Were you the guy who complained about EOTech in the AR forum? If so, how's the EOTech in the picture working for ya?

They (EOTech) did the announcement that they would accept returns for all of the sights that were leaning to have the new "revised" base fitted. I sent mine in and had the new style base installed and so far, it sits level on everything. It's a shame that they didn't take that kind of responsibility from the beginning, because they have lost this customer for life!

I think that the revised base is going to be standard on all of the new EOTech sights, but you may want to contact them and confirm.

I had a pretty nice rifle but had been thinking of tinkering with it for awhile when someone offered to sell me a used but never fired Noveske lower. I had contacted a friend who had been wanting me to put an AR15 together for him at a pretty low cost. We decided what I could sell him and what he could afford to buy and well, I didn't end up keeping much!!

Before:

LMT M4 upper

WOA SS 1:7 midlength barrel turned to 0.90" under the handguards by Steve at ADCO and then fluted.

F marked set-screwed FSB

A2 FS

DD 12.0FSPM that I cut shorter

WOA bolt and carrier group

RRA lower with Steve's pinned RRA NM 2-stage trigger

All tan parts were Duracoated in Tiger Stripe Brown- a beautiful color with a lot of chameleon like properties.

Newest Iteration:

Noveske N4 lower with the RRA 2-stage NM

Magpul CTR

LMT H2 buffer

Upper is the Mur-1 with FA and deflector

Same barrel

DD was graciously refinished by Jay and is better than it was to begin with

MP tested bolt with extraction upgrade by Grant

M16 CMT carrier staked like you wouldn't believe by Grant

This time I applied a matte clear over the barrel to keep it from "discoloring due to the elements."

KAC 300m that served in Iraq at some point and I refinished with DC

Eotech 512 on a LaRue mount

DD push button sling mount just in front of barrel nut.

BFG SOC-C sling I disassembled to suit my needs 6 months ago
