MarylandShooter passed away back on June 1st, I just received an e-mail from his wife.

For those that knew him Mark was full of piss and vinegar, a staunch supporter of individual liberties, and an ardent 2A supporter. Back in 2013 he was at ALL the rallies down in Annapolis, and stayed at the Senate hearings till the wee hours of the morning.

If you are a person of faith, please keep his wife and daughters in your prayers.

All man. Forest we lost another of our old group.

I haven't been in contact with Mark in awhile. I figured it was worked related. As we work at the same place and Mark being Mark pissed off a bunch of people.

That is sad to hear. I guess no more trips to his little range in the middle of a neighborhood that use to piss off Balt. County police. Lol.

Jimmy shut that down a couple years ago after the big 'SWAT' raid. While legal somebody in the neighborhood had enough clout with Baltimore County PD to have them apply thuggish pressure to have Jimmy & MDShooter shut down the range. :-( Too bad it was a sweet place for load and barrier testing. Many of us had fun there.

Nope. It was on private land. Mark had been shooting there awhile and invited many of us to join him. He had been approached by LEOs before but went to the Chief and pointed out it was legal, then he didn't have problems for a long time - till the 'raid'.

My son shooting at the private range.

If you've seen my barrier testing in the Ammo forum, the tests were all conducted there. (a couple of the 6.8 loads we tested one of the days)
