There are very few quality wineries in Maryland unfortunately. Black Ankle is among if not the best and not too far from Frederick.

You guys were correct , but we did find a place called orchid cellars, which have mead, I like mead. Delicious stuff!,!! Only about an hour from home, sure we will stop back there as they were building a new place next to their shop.
We did wind up going back up to PA to visit more familiar territory the rest of the week but glad we found the meadery. Also past the Rocky Gap Casino which looks like it may be a stop next year Thanks again 39 |
