I want to purchase the COLT COMPETITION .223/5.56NATO CSR-1516 RIFLE. Is this rifle legal in Maryland?   I read the FSA prohibitions but honestly I am not sure.

I'm going to say no, it's not Maryland legal, because it lacks a heavy barrel.  But that rifle looks like it sucks anyway, it doesn't even have a forward assist.  Take a look at the Colt 6721, that's Maryland legal.
