Wife and I are taking a LONG trip up through the Northeast and I want to go "sea duck" hunting. Hence I`ll be carrying two shotguns with us. Probably at least one pistol as well. I`ve heard that Maryland can be ,,,difficult,,,with respect to people passing though. Can any of you enlighten me as to the wisdom of driving there and any rules that I need to know about? TIA

Make sure they are unloaded, keep them in the trunk, never consent to a search.

The only requirement when transporting a longarm is that it is unloaded.

Pistols must be cased and unloaded.

Follow FOPA.
