THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Any idea how long the drive will be and when I should be leaving Frederick in the AM? What is the traffic like? Thanks! SS |

You'll be with the flow going in and with the flow going out. The drive home will be slightly better, except for Fridays, but they'll be considerably better Friday mornings.
Getting there at 8 means you'll be with the beginning of the peak and leaving at 5 you'll be in the thick of the worst! 1.5ish is my estimate. West side sux. |

695 & 40. There are 2 of them you know. Are you talking Rosdale or Catonsville? If it is Rosedale you better plan for a 2 hour commute both ways.

I need to find someplace cheap to live nearby. SS |

With you leaving Frederick at 6AM, you might only hit a slow down around 70 and 29 and 70 and 695. That first leg should take 35-40 minutes, it's the beltway to Middle River that'll take the other 1-1.5hr.

Your best bet is 70 east to 695 south to 95 north (toll) to 695 east to 40 north/east
Yeah, still 2 hours or just under. You'd be better renting a plane from Frederick Municipal to Martin State! |
