I'll be staying in Hunt Valley for a week in the near future. looking for advice as to places to eat, gun shops, etc. nearby. I know I can take the light rail down to the inner harbor and plan on doing that and visiting Fort McHenry. I will have a car, so anything in the hunt valley vicinity worth checking out? Thanks!

Charcoal Deli is AWESOME pit beef.

Corner Stable has good crab cakes and great ribs.

Continental Arms is down the road a bit....good selection of weapons/goods and they have an indoor range with rentals if interested. Be prepared to pay as prices as a bit high on guns/gear.

Freestate Armory is a bit farther away also an indoor range with rentals. I like Free State better personally.

If you want to kill an evening driving around to gun shops you can go to Gun Connection and The Gun Shop which are about 30 minutes away.

I'm no good at offering advice on the City other then I hate going there.

If you have money to burn and want a good meal, you can go to The Milton Inn which is 10 minutes North of Hunt Valley on York Road. Good food, nice atmosphere and John Wilkes Booth went there when it was a Boys School.

I think Duffy's gunroom is right there too, never had a chance to go there, though.

There are some nice bars in the area. An Potin Stil is a good one, Hightops, Padonia Station is OK.

Duffy's is on Falls Rd., 4 miles north of Shawan Rd. Store's open on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. They have some interesting stuff, but their inventory's a little low. They have some interesting "gun+suppressor" packages from time to time.
