Anyone here get in on the great Walmart feeding frenzy? None of the stores near me carry guns anymore.

I looked near me and the clearanced ammo was already gone and I didn't see any smokin deals on guns, so they were either gone already or not at that store.

Lakeville store had nothing that was on clearance. I had them price check tags even.

I will not buy any guns from walmart stores in this area.

I see nothing on sale or worth going through their firearm databases.

I picked up a Marlin 1895 45-70 in Cottage Grove for 299 plus tax I am about to submit the rebate form to get 50 back. Happy to get a lever action big bore for 250 when all said and done.

The only stores in the greater metro that sell guns to my knowledge is Lakeville, Cottage Grove and Hastings but I could be wrong those are just the ones an employee told me about.

Most of the good stuff is probably gone. Here are some of the sale items.

Ruger American rifles in .30-06,.308, and .243 for $170-$199

Marlin 1895 .45-70 for $299 + $50 rebate

Mossberg 930 for $399

Various savage rimfires(.22lr, .22mag, and .17mag) for $70- $150 + $25 rebate on certain models

Remington 597 for $70

Some clearance sales on ammo.

My buddy picked up a Savage .22mag bolt gun for $80 at the Fairmont WM and they had a 930 still in the case for $399, this was on Sun morning. They sold the other sale guns they had before he got there.

Walmart is flushing inventory on slow moving firearms and ammo. A lot have already been scooped up but it sounds like there is more in distribution to come out.

Ya I am still disappointed I missed out on that buyback hopefully next time I have more heads up so I can sweeten up the wife on me bringing a bunch of random guns home.

Just got a 45-70. One left on the shelves too. Price showed 589 until I had them scan it. She fixed the sticker so I expect it to go fast.

I live in the north metro. Most wal mart stores in my AO sell firearms. I would have to go out of my way to find one that doesn't.
