Taught by Precision Applications, LLC and hosted by PointBlank Gun Training, LLC in Brainerd MN.

Saturday and Sunday, August 6-7.

Skill level:  Intermediate to Advanced

Schedule (all hours are Central Standard Time)
Saturday, August 6
0900hrs: Student arrival and sign-in
Training starts immediately after and will run until approximately 1200hrs.
1300hrs: Resume training
Approximately 1600hrs: break for dinner
Resume training approximately 1 hour before dark and continue for 2 hours after dark.

After the end of the first day's training, there will be a bonfire and snacks provided for those that would like to hang around.  

Sunday, August 7
0900hrs:  Class begins
1200hrs:  Break for lunch
1300hrs:  Resume training
1600hrs:  End of training

Vendors will be present during the training to display their products.  

Topics covered will include, but are not limited to:

DAY 1
Combat Mindset
Draws
Ready positions
Reloads
Malfunction clearances
Pivots
Shooting while moving and/or negotiating obstacles
Use of cover
Disabled/one-handed operation

Lowlight/Night-fire:
Discussion of physiological issues pertaining to lowlight engagements
Discussion of equipment, to include lights and ammo
Light retention when reloading or clearing stoppages/malfunctions
Flashlight deployment techniques
Carry ammo testing

DAY 2
ECQS method
Speed Rock
The rest of the day will be Competency-based drills.  The drills will each focus on a specific skill set or sets.  These drills are scored and timed and are pass/fail.  The students will be able to take this drills with them to use for individual training and self-assessment.  Altogether, the drills are an excellent barometer of your personal abilities in critical skills. The majority of these drills are performed individually, but we will end the day with some team drills.  

The Chief Instructor, Rob Sheppard, is a certified LE Instructor, both state and Federal.  Any LEO's attending the course will be provided with documentation to enable them to get credit for training hours.

Course fee is $595. This fee includes bunkhouse-styles lodgings and meals.  Course fees must be paid in advance to hold your spot.

Reloads on your person
1,000rds of ammo
Eye and ear protection
Hat with a front brim
Dress appropriately for the forecast.   We will train rain or shine.
