Cut/paste from the email I got:

Hot off the Senate Judiciary committee meeting
yesterday, we've received word that Rep. Dan Schoen (DFL 54A) will
introduce two anti-gun amendments tomorrow to HF3467 - an omnibus bill
that includes some public safety provisions that will be heard on the
House floor during Thursday's session.

Even though we've already fought this battle, Rep. Schoen
will attempt to do the following:

Ban the carrying of a firearm at the State Capitol Complex
whenever school children are present - leaving law-abiding citizens
defenseless. You
can view his amendment at this link.

Require "universal background checks" for most firearms transfers,
just as Senator Latz attempted yesterday in the Minnesota Senate. You
can view his amendment for UBCs at this link.

Have the requirement that all voters have to register with photo ID first and prior to being issued a ballot on voting day.

tie the two together. See who blinks first.

Really looks like this year's "push" for gun grabbers was little more than grandstanding for Bloomberg.
