Prerequisite: You must have attended our Carbine-1 or Tactical Carbine-1 Course.

This course will be taught by the Staff of Defensive Edge and SLR15 Rifles, who have been featured in SWAT Magazine, Guns & Ammo Magazine Tactical Guns & Gear Annual, Shooting Times, Gun Digest, Guns & Weapons For Law Enforcement Magazine, and Precision Rifle Magazine. Our courses has been taught for over a decade all over the country.
This course is designed to hone basic fundamentals while teaching individual tactics and techniques. Students will deal with a multitude of different targets at varying distances, and learn to shoot from cover and concealment from multiple shooting positions. Multiple targets will challenge even the experienced operator. Proficiency will be stressed, as well as reloads, and malfunction clearing.
STUDENT MATERIALS:(Minimum Suggestion)
1. Tactical carbine Rifle & 3-magazines (AR15/M16, Mini-14/30, HK's, Etc)
Note: .22LR Carbines are acceptable for last half of the class, you will need a rifle caliber carbine for the first half.
2. 400 rounds of Carbine Ammunition "Minimum" (Half can be .22LR, but the other half will need to be rifle caliber if using both types of ammo)
3. Handgun with holster & 50 rounds handgun ammunition. The handgun must be of quality make, No Jennings, Highpoint, Taurus (Beretta 92 copies), etc. Holster must be of quality make on the hip or thigh. No Crossdraw or chest rigs will be allowed. No cheap nylon type (Uncle Mikes type) holsters allowed. If you have questions on the handgun or holster, please contact us before the course.
4. Protective Ear and Eye Wear (Electronic Earphones are recommended so you can hear during shooting)
5. Hat, Sun block, Rain Gear, Bug spray
6. Knee & Elbow pads are recommended, as you will be on the ground during shooting positions.
7. Water, Gatorade, Snacks & Lunch (Plan on eating at the range during a short lunch break, and snacking all day)
8. Lawn Chair
