Sheriff Bob Kindler vs. deputy Kurt Freitag

Anyone here have any pros or cons on either candidate?
I'm new to the county. Yard signs for both guys all over the place. I'm not sure I like the incumbent, but the challenger doesn't seem like an improvement. The fact that Mrs. Freitag is MPLS police concerns me a bit.

If even a quarter of the crap on the challenger is correct, I would do my best to vote against him But, I'm not in that county.

A quick google brings up information on both...you're right, neither look great. sadly. I'd be ok with the incumbent though, if that was the only challenger...but, that's just me, YMMV.

I knew them both years back and am just as confused as you OP.

Right now I'd say leaning towards Kindler, because like you said the challenger just doesn't seem like an improvement.  Honestly, my choice would have been Glazier, the one that got ousted in the primary.
