Bomb threats create predictible responses. I'd be more worried about reacting that way to a bomb threat than the threat itself.

I can listen to the scanner all I want, but I cannot even pretend to be doing anything even remotely approved on Arfcom. On the other hand, they let us read all the news websites that we want.
