THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Hi everyone, for those of you who took part in SHTF-1 last September, thank you! I have a date set up for Sept 22, 2012 at Ahlman's again in Morristown, MN. I've invested in metal targets, some tactical trainers and martial arts trainers will be putting on demonstrations throughout the day at the Lucky Lady (registration building) this year with times and locations listed on the website. We will have another "bug out vehicle" contest, as well as have a separate "competition" with a special prize to the winner, for those who want to challenge themselves and the other competitors. We've got our sponsors back, DPMS, Birchwood Casey, Coonan, Element Arms, 1791 Apparel, Mountain State Surplus, Cabela's, MidwayUSA, plus added KaBar, LaRue and some other great names will be donating guns, apparel, knives, tactical training courses, mounts and more.

The website for this year's event is www.shtfshoot.com, you can find a neat video from last year's shoot on the bottom of the homepage, plus there are photos of last year under the "photo" page, which should give you an idea of what the event is like, for those of you who weren't there last year. Preregistrations this year get unlimited shooting, a shirt, lunch, patch and a custom engraved LaRue Dillo Opener that says "SHTF-2 2012" and Dillo Dust. Also all preregistered people get put in the drawing for the DPMS AR-15 Rifle. Let me know if you have any questions or want to help in any way. I am not a company, just an individual doing this for fun! I have permission to post this here from Striker.

Yes, we will be handing out the T shirts at the shoot, along with your LaRue dillo opener and dust to all preregisters. Last year I underestimated shirts (mailed them out to shooters for the ones we ran short on sizes for), this year we will have plenty on hand.

KaBar's prizes came in today, 2 of these blades. They are very nice, very sharp and surprisingly thick. I'm guessing they'd take some abuse! Thought you guys might like to see an update :)

Here's the update to the Facebook page, pretty sweet development:

Mankato Crank and Chrome is in the process of building up a bug out vehicle for one of the driving/shooting stages!!! Their whole crew is excited and adding their own ideas, I can't wait to see what they come up with! At the shoot, the shooter will engage targets from this BOV on a trail that it will be driving around. Thanks Mankato Crank and Chrome!!

We are starting to construct our "shoot house" stage. I'm thinking a few more rooms and an "L" shape, add doors and walls, and this should be a really fun stage! What would you guys like to run through it with? 1 gun, 2 or 3?
