A three judge panel of the US Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that Washington DC's "may issue" concealed carry licensing scheme is unconstitutional. The court ruled that an applicant can not be forced to prove a "good cause" to obtain a license.

Well, it is almost certain that the city will appeal and this will have to go before the full court and ultimately to the US Supreme Court. The city will delay this as long as possible. After all, they are using public money to pay for it and public money is unlimited. But, good news is always better than bad news and this is good news.
