Will you be working? If so, let me know when you will be there and I'll stop by to buy a ticket and say hello.

I should be. I have to coordinate schedules with the wife. The kids are still just a little too young to spend a day helping dad at the booth!

Treat the MG shoot like a light hike. Pack a small bag (or a big bag if you're buying a lot!) with water and some snacks, wear good shoes, bring your own eye and ear pro, plan on rain&mud. Sometimes the parking lots get little muddy, bring a regular car (not a low-rider or luxury barge!) and know where your tow points are just in case you get stuck!

Since it's your first shoot, stay for the night shoot on Satudrady. When the sky starts getting a little orange wander over to the firing line and find yourself a spot so you can see the big show.

I have not gone before. Would love to go as there are a few MGs on my bucket list I cant afford to own so renting is as close as I will get. I prefer to go to MG shoots i can take my own transferables with me to enjoy and share with others.

The lower range is the best place for rental MGs.They have several to chose from.

Is it cheaper than the other ranges? I hear you only get one magazine versus the Two you get for the jungle walk for roughly the same price?

Does anyone remember any 20mm rifles being for rent? This is one thing i really want to shoot, I've shot a bunch of MG's before, and Really love the old ww2 ATR's.

I volunteered for Sunday. I have not been assigned a shift yet. Look for a skinny guy with a boonie hat and some stubble.

Sat morning go straight to the chopper. Sign up and ride it. BEST $100 you'll ever spend. Me and my 2 boys ($300) ride it every MG shoot.....and if I could, I'd get right back in line and do it a 2nd time.

Muddy off the gravel. Friday seemed a bit slow compared to other shows. The line didn't seem as active either.

Sunday was pretty good. The Friends of the NRA raffled off two more guns. A little lighter than usual but we still raised some funds.

Once I went on break there were decent deals to be had, prices seemed down 10-25% from what I was seeing before the election. I got some mags, a weaponlight, and a CMMG two-stage trigger.

Ammo prices were down and vendors were haggling too.
