Thank you! I want to be there on the 11th, but cannot commit as my wife is still recovering from knee replacement surgery, and we just can't know where she'll be in her recovery by then. |

It's 3 hours away from me so the 11th is out but I'll be up one weekend this month.

I;m not kicking dirt on you or anything but it's pretty shitty to tell ARFCOM members to park where they can get towed from. |

I;m not kicking dirt on you or anything but it's pretty shitty to tell ARFCOM members to park where they can get towed from. Easily fixed. Go have a drink at The Back Door before dinner. By the time you park and have a drink or two, no one will know your car from any other in the lot. The other option is to park on Cherokee Rd it's just a block off bardstown and there is usually pretty good parking location. I didn't have to do the parking thing, as we walked there. Me and the wife stopped in for dinner last Saturday evening. Place was full and it looks poised to be a local hot spot. The decor was nice and it's nice to see the old Kashmir has been rebuilt it to this place. Nice interior not crowded and patio area for smokers and people watching. The food and drinks were great. We had a couple of the craft cocktails. We both recommend the Oriental Fashion, I also tried the Hot and Sour cocktail. It was ok but a little sweet for my taste all in all. For dinner we had a couple of appetizers, the pork buns and the Kimchi appetizer, and we split an order of the Beijing Duck, it was unbelievable. I recommend this highly. It will be what I will be ordering again in the future. We also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner TheVibe, he was an awesome fellow. He has a bright future in this location and I wish him the best. You guys better take him up on the AFCOM nite and discount, cause I have a feeling that this is going to be a busy busy restaurant. Make a trip here before you need reservations. See you guys on the 11th. |
|
Field MP- I may have just missed you that afternoon! Glad you enjoyed if though. Our lunch special is a killer deal.
WenisPinkle- Thank you for the kind words. It was awesome meeting and chatting with you! See you there or should I say "here" haha. Vengarr- I agree, I it would be pretty bad business practice to intentionally tell my customers to park where they would get towed. However, all of our customers that have parked there have had no/zero issues. No one has ever been towed. If you have been towed for that matter, please let me know and I'll inform our patrons! |

We are first and foremost a restaurant. We just happen to have a craft cocktail program. Thanks for the reply. I haven't been yet, so I wasn't sure how big of a place it is, etc. Are you a "bona fide" restaurant (dining facilities for 50+, less than 50% of income from alcohol - KRS 244.125)? In case it's not clear what I'm driving at, is it carry legal/carry friendly? Hope to see some of you on the 11th. |

I suppose that all depends on how many people we show up with and how much our dates drink on the 11th. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I was hoping to find a date there amongst the 49 beautiful swimsuit models who just drank down 6 months worth of revenue. You mean dudes will be there too? MrsMas might not care for that plan though. |
|
No worries gentlemen, we are first and foremost a restaurant. Our alcohol sales do not reach 50%.
We are very CCDW friendly. But if you do plan on drinking, please don't bring a weapon besides your limbs Also, we are running a special during the arfcom meet up. It's called West 6th Wedesday. Half priced all West 6th Beers! So without further ado: Can I get a rough head count of how many will be coming? I'll reserve some spots! |

Typing this as I sit here eating on the "pet friendly patio" (as opposed to the pet unfriendly back alley?? )... the food is excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, not too loud or quiet. All in all the best restaurant food wise I have been to in a loooong time.

So I have four people coming so far?
When you come in, please let one of the servers know you here with the Arfcom Party. They'll know what you mean by that |

Wow. I would have expected a bigger turn out. View Quote Yeah, same here. Maybe because it's a weeknight? Several of us used to help cook up arf CC/OC dinners before and usually with pretty good turnout. SevenShooter, Scott from Lotus used to come, a regional NRA guy (Cotton?) used to come, the guy that either had EMT in his name or an EMT avatar... enough to fill up several tables put together. |

Sorry guys I won't be attending. Work is busy. Drink one for me!
|

So is everyone in the hospital with food poisoning??? How did it go? I wish I could have gone but a 6 hour round trip on a work night wasn't doable.
|
|
I missed the meet up but, I look forward to checking your place out.
|
|
I wish I had seen this. Me and the wife love checking out new places.
Any plans to do it again? |
|
Can we get in a Mk.2, maybe sometime around the fourth? I hear the duck is epic, and I haven't had ducks in years. So we need to run that in.
